Tehachapi Resident in Suicide Leaves Wife and Four Children
Newton Wert for several years a resident of the desert committed suicide at his home in Tehachapi 
on Friday morning. His wife, Ann Wert and three children reside there while an older son Art lives 
in Mojave Funeral services were conducted by the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Bakersfield Monday 
morning with interment in the Legion cemetery.
