June 22, 1914 � June 18, 2004
Walter Thomas Wiley, 89, of Tehachapi and Indio passed away on June 18 in Palm 
Desert. Walter was born to James and Lucy Wiley on June 22, 1914 in Sidney, Ohio. He 
married Jeannette Sanders on March 5, 1937 in Glendale.
Walter worked as a construction coordinator for movie studios, including Fox and 
Warner Bros., for 35 years.
Walter is survived by his wife, Jeannette Wiley of Tehachapi and Indio; children, Barbara 
Grundhoffer of Georgetown, Carol Weiner of Temecula, John Wiley of Camarillo, 
Richard Wiley of Thousand Oaks, and Robert Wiley of Tehachapi. He also leaves behind 
12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
