Wilinski is mourned in Downey DOWNEY-Services were held Jan. 10 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for William J. Wilinski, a former machinist for 25 years for Proto Tool, who died Jan. 2 at the Bellflower Medical Center. He was 96, born in Chicago, Illinois, and lived 60 years in South Gate. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Survivors include his wife, Lottie Wilinski of South Gate; his son, Ronald Wilinski; and three grandsons, Christopher of Huntington Beach, Ronald S. of Downey, and Greggory of Hawaii. Fr. John Maloney officiated. Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach. Arrangements were by the Miller-Mies Mortuary of Downey.
