Memorial service slated for Annabell Williams
DOWNEY-A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Downey First Christian 
Church for Annabell Williams who was born in 1912 in Cedar Hill, New Mexico and died Feb. 17 in Downey. 
She was a resident of Bell and South Gate. She had earlier come to California in 1929 and, with her 
parents Richard and Ida Hendricks, joined her sister Louise and her two brothers, Richard and Laird. She 
married Leo Williams in 1933. 
Later she was a secretary for Garrett Supply Co. until her retirement in 1977. 
After losing her husband to cancer in 1971, she and friends traveled to many countries around the world. 
She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Walker (Jack), son Roger (Julie), 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 
and one great-great grandchild, sister Louise and brother Laird, and 3 nephews.
