Mojave Shocked By News of Mrs. Williams Death 
Profoundly shocking the town came the news on Sunday evening last of the death of Mrs. 
Leonard L. Williams, 19, wife of Leonard Williams, who has been employed in the local post 
office since his release from the Marine Corps last April.
Mrs. Williams, daughter of Mrs. Townley of Ontario, Calif., was known throughout the town
as a sweet and lovable person, just as good as she was beautiful and many were the wet eyes when 
the news came through.
The funeral took place yesterday in Ontario, Richardson Funeral Home of that place having
charge of arrangements and who transported the body back for interrment. The sympathy of 
many of our townspeople is extended to Mr. Williams in his sad bereavement.
