Mojave Desert News; 3 Jan 1946 LOCAL MAN PASSES AWAY Another of those sterling characters intimately connected with the building of the local Marine Air station in the early days has gone to his reward. Milton Wolfsfeld, 42, who claimed St. Louis, Mo. as his birthplace in 1904, died of pneumonia at the Ridgecrest Hospital on January 2. During this residence in Mojave of some three years he leaves his widow, Rose of Mojave and his mother, Mrs. Carrie Wolfsfeld of Chicago Illinois to mourn his loss. Up to a short time ago he had been steadily employed at the base as an electrician having come here with the Vincent Pringle and Del E. Webb Company. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 4, at the Community Congregation Church conducted by Rev. Floyd Bailey at 2:00 P. M. interment to be in Mojave Cemetery with Doughty-Calhoun-Omara of Bakersfield in charge.
