Fred W. Wooldridge passed away early Thursday 
morning, Aug. 5, at Western Arizona Regional 
Medical Center in Bullhead City, Ariz., at the age 
of 85. 
Fred was born on June 9, 1919, in Sonora, Ky. 
He was a resident and real estate broker in 
Tehachapi for over 30 years and moved to 
Laughlin, Nev., in February 2002 for his health. 
He contributed much to the Tehachapi area 
through his real estate brokerage firm, 
partnerships and as an individual. He was a 
WWII veteran and served with the U.S. Marines. 
He is survived by his sons, Fred W. Wooldridge 
Jr., Ronald E. Wooldridge and Steven A. 
Wooldridge, his daughter, Laura L. Wakeland, 12 
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be held at Wood Family 
Funeral Services in Tehachapi, followed by 
graveside services at the East Tehachapi 
Cemetery, on Thursday Aug. 12, at 1 p.m.
