Ybarra, homemaker mourned DOWNEY-A Funeral Mass will be heard Saturday, Dec. 20, at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for Agatha M. Ybarra, a Downey resident for 24 years and a homemaker for 61 years. She was 83, born in Silver City, New Mexico, and died at her Downey home Dec. 16. She was a former longtime resident of the greater South East Los Angeles area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ybarra, in 1987. Survivors include her daughters, Barbara and Diane Ybarra of Downey; sisters Felicitas Rosales of Norwalk and Lucy Arellano of Canyon Country. A Vigil Service will be held tonight (Friday, Dec. 19) at 7 p.m. at the church. The Rev. Mr. Charles Denisac and Pastor Reverend John Moloney will officiate. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Downey Zrelak Family Mortuary.
