Auto Accident Fatal to One 
Edwin Leroy Young, 31, Warrant Officer of the USN, enroute on orders from 
San Diego to the Naval Adm. Com. Post Graduate School in Monterey died Tuesday 
night, October 6, at 7:25 in the Mojave Medical Center.

Young, who was a passenger in a car driven by his wife Dorothy H., accompanied 
by their children, Kathleen Ann 1, and Eloise Lois, 4, was thrown from the car 
when the left rear tire blew out causing the car to turn over four times. The 
accident occurred 11 miles south of Mojave on Highway 6 and Young suffered a 
basal skull fracture and internal injuries. The baby Kathleen suffered a broken 
right leg and Mrs. Young sustained an extreme shock. The other child was 
uninjured.
		
O'Donnell. ambulance took the injured people to Mojave Medical Center. Mr. Young's
body will be shipped to Santa Cruz, Calif. for interment.
