Marian Ashkenasy made her final transition peacefully surrounded by her loving family. 
Marian was born in Brooklyn and moved to Los Angeles in 1944 and was married to her 
supportive, devoted and caring husband Fred for 61 years. They had a wonderful life 
together. She raised her 3 adoring children, Judy Barila, Ken Ashkenasy (deceased) and 
Lance Ashkenasy; 5 grand-children Leesa, Jason, Harrison, Travis and Jessica and 5 great 
grand-children, Jordan Carly, Sydney, Taylor and Olivia. She will be missed and never 
forgotten. Services will be held at 1pm, Thursday December 16, 2010 Mount Sinai 
Memorial Parks and Mortuaries - Hollywood Hills (800) 600-0076. In lieu of flowers, please 
make a donation to Alzheimer's Research.
