Bylin Posted: Wednesday, July 13, 2011 3:53 pm 92, passed away June 15, 2011. He was born July 2, 1918, in Chicago, Ill., and lived in Big Bear City for the past 24 years. He served in the U.S. Army/Air Corps from 1940-1945 earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a POW with the 8th Air Force shot down over Germany during WWII. He was a Merchant Seaman for 28 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Escondido and loved golfing. Frank is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eunice; daughter, Kathleen Michell (Bruce); sons, David (Linda), Stephen (Bonnie), Daniel (Debi), and Christopher; sisters, Genevieve and Helen Bylinowski; brother, Andrew Bylinowski (Helen), and 7 grandchildren.
