Margaret "Maggie" Boslaugh Fesler
80, passed away May 1, 2011 at the San Gorgonia Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 25, 1930, in Pomona. A former longtime resident of Big Bear, best known for her restaurant "Maggie's Place" (the former Big Bear Lake Hotel and now the Mill Creek Manor Tea Room). She went into the restaurant business as a teenager and later owned The Place in La Puente. Maggie also worked at the Moose Lodge in Fawnskin, volunteered at the American Legion in Big Bear and for the City of Hope until she retired. She gave many years to the Old Miners Association and was a member of the International Chili Society for 30 years.

Maggie is preceded in death by her three children Mark, Michael and Linda. She is survived by her brother Perry, sisters Patti and Shirley, plus many friends.

Margaret held all holiday dinners for family and friends her whole life at home and in her restaurants. She retired to her garden and cooking.
