	Edwin F. Golding late of Co. B Seventh California Volunteer 
Infantry, passed from earth to spirit life at 8:30 o'clock Monday morning, 
January 8th, as a result of a long and severe illness which he endured
with heroic bravery and patience. Funeral services will be held at Johnson
& Connell's undertaking parlors at 2 O'clock Wednesday afternoon.
