MRS JEPSON, 89, DIES AT HOME IN SUTTER CO.
Mrs Angeline Jepson, 89, died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs Minnie Watson at
Meridian, where she had resided for the past ten months. Death was due to complications of old
age. She had been deaf and dumb since the age of five years. Mrs Jepson was the widow of John
Jepson, who died in 1895. She was a native of Indiana and had resided in California since 1881. She
came to Meridian from Pasadena. Survivng are three daughters, Mrs Ida Parsons, Redding, Mrs
Edith Ralston, Dunsmuir and Minnie Watson , Meridian, two sons, Benton Jepson, San Bernandino;
Carl Jepson, Pasadena, 18 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be
held at the Meridian church at 2:30 pm Tuesady, with the interment in the Meridian cemetery. Rev.
Will Armstrong of Meridian will officiate.
