Rose Marie Knotts

82, was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Omaha, Neb., and died Feb. 14, 2013, in Yuma, Az. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Knotts, son Timothy Knotts and daughter-in-law Bethelena, daughter Tamra Langguth and son-in-law Steve, 6 grandkids; Jake, Sierra, Eilea, Kiralee Knotts, Kris and Andy Langguth.

Her career, until she retired in 1995, was working as a claim adjuster for AIG. She then moved to Big Bear with her husband, Tom, to the little community of Sugarloaf.

She was an avid fisherwoman and was on the lake daily. She became a longtime volunteer for the Bear Valley Community Hospital Women's Auxiliary. In 2009 she and Tom came to Yuma for the winters. She met many new friends at the Las Quintas Oasis. She was also very much an animal lover who would obtain her companions through rescue organizations. She was loved by many and will truly be missed by her family and friends. She is now at peace.

A celebration of her life will be held this coming April.
