Leavitt Rites
Final rites were held at 10 a.m. today in Sullivan Brothers Chapel for Walter Ned Leavitt, who died Friday morning in his Williams home. The Rev. P. Malcolm Stewart officiated. Pallbearers were Edgar J. Mitchell, C. M. Griffin, William Ast, Grover Wallace, Charles C. Haller and E. J. Worsley. Interment was made in Williams Cemetery.

W. N. Leavitt of Williams Is Taken By Death
Services are pending in Sullivan Brothers Funeral Home for Walter Ned Leavitt, 77, who died at 4:30 a.m. today in his Williams home. A native of New Hampshire, Leavitt had lived in Williams for more than 50 years. Leavitt was employed by an oil company in Williams for many years. The survivors are his wife, Carrie, of Williams, and a son, Walter Jr., of Fresno.
