On Feb. 26, 2011, Glenda Lundin passed away very peacefully with family and friends by her side.
She was born on July 31, 1956, in Bakersfield, Calif.
Thirty-seven years ago, Glenda met the love of her life, John Lundin. The two married in 1978 and moved to Big Bear in 1979, where they raised their two beloved sons, William and Michael.
Glenda loved God, her family and friends. She was a wife, mother, sister, aunt and cousin. Most people that
knew Glenda will remember her as a loving, kind woman who baked THE BEST chocolate chip cookies and
supported all of the Big Bear youth sports. She also loved sunsets and watching fireworks.
Survived by her husband, John Lundin, son, William Lundin and Jennifer Lauer, sister, Betty Hill, brother, Bob
York, mother-in-law, Mildred Lundin, sister-in-law, Cindy Fishback (Richard), brother-in-law, Worth Lundin (Mary)
and many cousins, nephews, nieces, great nieces and nephews and countless friends. She was preceded in death
by her parents, Glen and Virginia York and son, Michael Lundin.
A celebration of Glenda's life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at noon at the Big Bear Convention Center,
located at 42900 Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear Lake, Calif.
Please join us for a potluck reception, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, Glenda requested
donations be made in her name to Big Bear Youth Baseball. Please make donations to "BBYB (Big Bear Youth
