Randall James Reyes "Bandana Randy"
passed away quietly Jan. 8, 2012, in Newport Beach, Calif. He was born April 8, 1959, in Anaheim, Calif. He moved to Big Bear Lake in 1987 and worked as a roofer for 30 years. He was an avid musician and in the early 1990s had an acclaimed local band named "Flat Broke."
He will be missed by many in the Big Bear Valley, as he was always willing to help those less fortunate.
He is survived by his son, James, age 27 of Costa Mesa, Calif.; mother, Nora Reyes, age 83 of Costa Mesa, Calif.; father, Robert Reyes, age 82 of Nogales, Ariz.; and sister, Lori Reyes Warshawski, age 56 of San Pedro, Calif.
A memorial celebration of his life will be in the spring of 2012. Exact time will be announced later.
