Mrs. Louise Shellooe Dies
Services are pending at McNary-Moore Funeral Home for Mrs. Louise Highstreet Shellooe, 72, the wife of Edward V. Shellooe, retired automobile dealer, who died at 5:58 a.m. today in Eskaton Colusa Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Shellooe was a lifelong resident and native to Colusa, born December 11, 1904. She was one of 13 children born to the late Joseph and Julia Highstreet, early- day residents off Colusa. Only two of the children survive. Two years ago Louise and Ed Shellooe celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Her death this morning saddened a wide circle of friends in the community. Mrs. Shellooe is survived by her husband; a son, Ted Shellooe of Antioch; two sisters, Josephine Bryan of Fresno and Lucille Lomba of Oakland, and six grandchildren, Maureen, John, James, Michael, Kevin and Stephen Shellooe, all children of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Shellooe of Antioch. Mrs. Shellooe was a member of the Catholic Church. The time for the services, which will probably be held Saturday, will be set later today.
