Glenn Scott Stuart
It is with great sadness the family of Glenn Scott Stuart announces his death at the age of 58 on July 14. Glenn died at his home in Big Bear City where he resided with his wife Melinda (Mindy) for six years. Glenn was born in White Plains, N.Y. on June 13, 1954. He and his family moved to California in 1957. He graduated from La Habra High School. Glenn married Mindy in 1974 and lived in Santa Clarita Valley for 26 years before moving to Big Bear full time. Glenn was very active in the communities where he lived. He was board director of the Santa Clarita Red Cross, chairperson for the Meals on Wheels annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner fundraiser for the Senior Center; he was an active member of the C.A.T.S. family here in Big Bear where he loved to perform on stage. He also was co-chair for the Big Bear Cowboy Gathering for a few years and on the board before that. He was the board director of the Big Bear Valley Center for Spiritual Enrichment. He was a member of the loyal order of Moose and active in many other community and charitable events.
He is survived by his wife Mindy of 38 years, Brother George (Jane) Stuart, nephews, George (Angela) Stuart, Tony (Kari) Stuart and great nephew. He will be missed by his beloved four legged kids, Ozzie, Harriet, Ricky, Davey and Jasper.
A ceremony honoring his life will be held on July 28 at 2 p.m. and the Center for Spiritual Enrichment at 578 Bonanza Trail in Big Bear Lake. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Center at P.O. Box 4184, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.
