"Nina" was a resident of Big Bear City for many years, where she worked at the former Blue Ox Restaurant and as a housekeeper. She was born the daughter of Raquel Villanueva-Macareno and Raymundo Torres-Vivar, Nov. 13, 1945, in Chiautla De Tapia, Puebla, Mexico. Saturnina married Alvaro Manzano June 19, 2004, in Mexico City, Mexico. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, birds, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. In addition to several siblings and grandchildren, Saturnina is survived by her husband, Alvaro, and her children, Alfredo Cazares, (Mariaujenia Cazares), Cristino Cazares (Claudia Cazares), Antioco Cazres, Vernardo Torres, Blanca Manzano, Marialuisa Manzano, Jemelas Manzano, Raquel Manzano (Dennis Hilton), Alvaro Manzano, Gilberto Manzano, Jose Luis Cazares-Torres (Debbie Tilbury), Maria de la Luz Manzano-Torres (Jacob Perez), Arturo Manzano (Tami Haslanger), Jesus F. Torres, Leo Flores and Hank Flores. The family would like to express their appreciation for everything that granddaughter, Maria Elena Manzano, did for her grandmother and mother, and want to let her know that they love her from the bottoms of their hearts. Dear Nina, may you rest in peace with the certainty that you will forever live, embodied as the innocence, the strength and the dignity with which you have endowed your offspring.
