Winnifred S Weis
Services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel for Winnifred Summy Weis, 101, of Burlingame, who died April 15, 1994 in Burlingame. Born in Sutter County, she lived in the Yuba-Sutter are 76 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fidelia Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and Sutter County Historical Society. She is survived by two sons, Warren Weis of Palo Alto and Leland Weis of Daly City and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alvin Weis; and a son, Mills Weis. The Rev Edgar Nelson, pastor emeritus of the Yuba City First United Methodist Church will officiate. Private burial will be in Meridian Cemetery. The family suggests donations to the Sutter County Historical Society.

Sutter Couple Wed Tomorrow
High School Romance Will Have A Very Happy Culmination
Yuba City, July 25.- A marriage license was issued today to George Alvin Weis of Live Oak, age twenty -one years, and Winnifred Summy of Sutter City and Twenty years old. The young couple are well known in Sutter County, where their parents have resided for many years. Miss Summy is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Lon Summy of the Sutter City district and is a graduate of the Sutter Union high school. Weis is the son of Mr and Mrs C. R. Weis, who resides near Encinal. He is a graduate of the Sutter City high school and it was while attending that institution that he became acquainted with his fiance. He is principal of Sutter City public school. The young couple will be wed tomorrow evening at the home of the bride's parents in Kent.
