H.K. (Hollis Kalil) Wilder 75, passed Jan. 10, 2013, in Redlands, Calif. Born June 20, 1937, H.K. was a warm friendly individual, generous, and kind. Always helping others when needed, volunteering to help at any instance. Very outgoing, he talked to everyone in every establishment including the doctor's offices and trash guys included!

As a father he pulled two jobs when necessary to pay bills, taught us how to work hard and solve problems and be a man. Besides taking care of my mother and family he showed us how to deal with life and succeed.

He really showed us great times as well as trips to the Grand Canyon, Mammoth Mountain, the beach, and especially camping. (He knew how to have a great time).
He was well known in the community, he was a member of the senior's car club, known by the mayor of Big Bear Lake, and nearly every restaurant.

In The Kids Eyes
Our grandpa was an amazing man; he was not only our grandpa but also our friend. We could talk to him about anything. He could make you laugh any time of day and his smile will always be something we remember. He was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back; he was so warm and caring to all of us. He came to our softball games and graduations, he was very supportive. Always motivated us to do well in school and follow what we believe in. He will forever be in our hearts. We miss him dearly. We love you grandpa Ken.
