David John Agundez 
May 16, 1942 — March 11, 2011
A memorial service will be Friday, March 18, for David John Agundez of Grayson, who died 
March 11 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Mr. Agundez, 68, was a native of Westmorland and lived in Grayson for 25 years. He worked 
in maintenance in Banta for five years and was a member of Universal Church of Christ in Modesto.
Mr. Agundez is survived by his wife, Eleanor Agundez of Grayson; sons, Jeff Agundez and Robert 
Agundez, both of Idaho, and David Agundez of Grayson; daughters, Tamara Agundez of Idaho, 
Lilly Vigil of North Carolina, Silvia Castenda of Manteca, Eleanor DeLeon of San Jose and Christina 
Acosta of Lathrop; brother, Daniel Agundez of Modesto; sister, Sandra Verla of Salinas; and many 
grandchildren and great  grandchildren.
 
The memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Hillview Funeral Chapel of Patterson, 450 W. Las 
Palmas Ave. Burial will be private.
