Mariano Zamarripa Alvarado, Jr.
July 30, 1960 —March 29, 2011
Services have been conducted for Mariano Zamarripa Alvarado Jr., of Grayson, who died March 29 in a 
Sacramento hospital.
Mr. Alvarado, 50, was a native of Scotts Bluff, Neb., and lived 43 years in Grayson. He was a self employed 
auto mechanic for 25 years and a member of the Apostolic Movement Church of Modesto. He enjoyed 
drawing, singing and playing his guitar.
Mr. Alvarado is survived by his wife, Angela Alvarado of Grayson; sons, Mariano Alvarado III and Julian 
Alvarado, both of Grayson; daughter, Rose Alvarado of Grayson; parents, Mariano and Angela Alvarado Sr. 
of Grayson.; brother, John Alvarado of Tracy; sister, Angela Navarro of Ceres; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Alvarado, who died in 2001.
The funeral service was Tuesday, April 5, at Iglesia El Sinai in Grayson. Burial followed at Patterson District 
Cemetery. Hillview Funeral Chapel of Patterson, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., handled arrangements.
