Frank Chavez

Services were Monday, May 2, for former Patterson resident Frank Chavez, 70, of Ceres, 
who died April 27 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Mr. Chavez was a native of Madera and had lived in Ceres six years. He had previously lived 
in Patterson for 19 years. He worked 30 years as a groundskeeper for Del Puerto Hospital 
and Turlock Memorial Park and was a member of the New Life Temple of Turlock.
Mr. Chavez is survived by his wife, Faye Chavez of Ceres; sons, Frank Chavez Jr. and Amador 
Chavez, both of Ceres; daughters, Dolores Fagundes of Ceres and Frances Mendoza of 
Modesto; brothers, Joe Chavez and Rick Chavez, both of Turlock, Henry Chavez of Delhi, 
Bobby Chavez of Texas and Manuel Chavez of Grayson; sisters, Linda Mora of Patterson and 
Rachel Davis of Livermore; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Arrangements were handled by Hillview Funeral Chapel of Patterson, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave. 
Burial was in Patterson District Cemetery.
