Richard Jay Gadson
April 24,1940 - June 19.2011
Services will be Friday, June 24, for Richard Jay "Dick" Carlson, 71, of Crows Landing, who died Sunday, 
June 19, at his home. Mr. Carlson was a native of Vitus and a past member of Patterson Lions Club.
Mr. Carlson is survived by his stepsons, Christopher Cerda of Patterson and Todd Cerda of Napa; brothers, 
Dan Carlson of Long Beach and Jerry Carlson or Seattle, Wash.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded 
in death by his wife, Marlene Carlson, and a brother, Jim Carlson.
Friday's memorial will begin at 2:3.0 p.m. at the Covenant Church, 435 W. Las Palmas Ave. Inurnment will 
follow in San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Gustine. Arrangements will be handled by Hillview 
Funeral Chapel of Patterson, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave.
