Patterson Irrigator, 02/24/2011, p 14 Jose Guadalupe Navarro July 15, 1931 — Feb. 19, 2011 A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 25, for Jose Guadalupe Navarro, of Patterson, who died Saturday, Feb. 19, at his home. Mr. Navarro, 79, was a native of Tepatitlan, Jalisco, Mexico, and lived in Patterson for 42 years. He worked 60 years as a farm laborer for Marchese Farms. Mr. Navarro was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed farming, gardening, growing agave and traveling to Mexico. Mr. Navarro is survived by his wife of 54 years, Paula Navarro of Patterson; sons, Tomas Navarro, and his wife, Lourdes, Lazaro Navarro, and his wife, Angelina, Arturo Navarro, and his wife, Josefina, and Jose Guadalupe Navarro Jr., and his wife, Darcy, all of Patterson, and Jose Luis Navarro, and his wife, Maria, of Ceres; daughters, Irma Navarro and Teresa Murillo, and her husband, Arturo, all of Patterson; brother, Ramon Navarro of Mexico; sister, Juana Cruz of Mexico; 20 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. A combination rosary and Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 529 I St. Visitation will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb 24, at Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W.
