John Robert Ogden, Jr.
Jan. 16, 1940 — Nov. 21, 2011
A private funeral service will be conducted for John Robert Ogden, Jr. of Patterson, who died 
Monday, Nov. 21, at his home.
 
Mr. Ogden, 71, was a native of Derby, Conn., and a resident of Patterson for 10 years. He was 
a machinist for 40 years and worked for Precision Machining for 10 years. He was a U.S. Army 
veteran, and he collected classic cars, enjoyed auto racing and was an avid Sabar Cats Football fan.
Mr. Ogden is survived by his son, John Daniel Ogden of Maryland; daughter, Allison Ogden of San 
Bernardino; brother, Herb Ogden of Southern California; five and grandchildren and five great 
grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Ogden’s name may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave., Patterson, is handling the arrangements.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Oct. 1, for Linda Lou Rowell of Patterson, who died 
Sept. 19. 2011, in Turlock.
Mrs. Rowell, 62, was a homemaker for 44 years. She loved animals, crafts and shopping.
Mrs. Rowell is survived by her husband, James Erick Rowell of Patterson; daughter, Leah Jane Rowell 
of Patterson; brothers, Philip Flannery of Montana, James Flannery of Washington and David Flannery 
of California; sister, Eileen Flannery of California; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. 
Rowell was preceded in death by her son, James Edward Rowell, who died on Aug. 24, 2010.
A Memorial Service will be at 12 noon on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the family home, 19111 Sycamore Ave., 
Patterson.
