Balentine Myrtle J 961205 p10 Myrtle J. Ballentine, 91; A longtime Crows Landing resident died Tuesday at her home. Myrtle J. Balentine, who had lived in Crows Landing the past 52 years, died at age 91. She was a native of Pixey, Ark., and was a homemaker. She also was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grayson. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson. Burial in Patterson District Cemetery will follow. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the chapel. Survivors include three sons, Everett "Duke Balentine of Crows Landing, Roy Balentine of San Leandro, and Bob Balentine of Reno; three daughters, Marthy Hickman of Crows Landing, Eunice Swanson of Hilmar, and Thelma Clayton of Fremont; 29 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruby Mayfield of Coal Hill, Ark.
