Elizabeth M. Ban, 80;  Final rites are scheduled for today, Thursday, for Elizabeth Mae Ban of Crows Landing.
She died Sunday at Memorial North Hospital in Modesto following a short illness.  She was 80.  A Crows Landing
native, she had lived all her life in this area.  She was a self-employed bookkeeper.  She was a 4-H leader for many years
and was a member of the Catholic Church in Crows Landing, as well as its Altar Society.  A combined rosary and Mass
will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.  Burial in Hills Ferry Cemetery, Newman,
will follow.  Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson is in charge of' the arrangements.  Survivors include her husband, John
Ban of Crows Landing; a brother, Harold Correia of Crows Landing; and a sister, Evelyn Cardoza of Atwater.
