John Barbaste, 75, Passes Away; John Barbaste died at his home on Pomelo Avenue, Patterson, last week at the age of
75. A native of France, from the Pyrenees section, he came to this country in 1903 and had lived in Patterson since 1914
where he was a dairyman. He is survived by his widow, Jeanne; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Bicary and a son Martin Barbaste,
and 3 grandchildren, all of Patterson.  He also leaves a brother Martin of Riverside. A rosary service was recited at Evans
Funeral Chapel on Sunday and burial took place on Monday in St. Mary's Cemetery, Patterson.
