Bartlett Marion 971014 p12 Marion �Hank Bartlett, 78; A 10 year Patterson resident, Marian "Hank" Bartlett, died last Thursday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. He was 78. A Native of Mabton , Wash., he worked as a packing shed manager for several produce companies throughout the San Joaquin Valley. He also was employed part time in the pro shop at the Manteca country Club and was a semi-pro golfer. He enjoyed painting in oils and mining for gold, and was an avid collector of big band and swing music. He traveled extensively throughout the continental states, as well as Alaska and Mexico. During World War II he served with General Patton's 44th Field Artillery Division. A memorial service will be held today, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at Las Palmas Mobile Estates here in Patterson. Cunningham's Affordable Burial & Cremation Center in Ceres is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include a sister, Mildred Alsberge of Salinas.
