Jonah Elijah Bateman, Infant;  A memorial service will be  held in Modesto this Saturday, Nov. 1, for Jonah
Elijah Bateman, infant son, of Tim and Jonelle Bateman.  The Batemans, now Turlock  residents, formerly lived
in Patterson.  The infant, born , Sept.  17, died three days later at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.  A twin
brother survived.  Burial was in Turlock Memorial Park.  The service will be held at Orthodox Presbyterian
Church, 1448 Standiford Ave. in Modesto, beginning at 11 a.m.  Survivors include his parents; three brothers,
Phyllip, Aleq and Noah Bateman, all of Turlock; two sisters, Hannah and Leah Bateman, both of Turlock;
grandparents John and Sandy Bateman of Fremont, Louis and Nikki Barton of Turlock, Phyllis Hassel of
Colorado, and Joel and Mary Hassel of Louisiana; and great-grandparents Ethyl Matherely of Fremont and Edna
Gorris of Colorado.
