Josephina Becerra, 78;  A 27-year resident of Patterson, Josephina Lopez Becerra, died last Friday at her Patterson
residence.  She was 78.  A native of Guadalajara, Mexico, she was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic
Church.  A rosary was recited Monday evening at the church, where a Mass will be celebrated today, Tuesday, at 10 a.m..
Burial in Patterson District Cemetery will follow.  Survivors include her husband, Cruz Becerra of Patterson; three sons,
Miguel and Jose of Patterson and Luis Becerra of Turlock; three daughters. Angelina Becerra and Lupe Becerra Cruz De
La Rosa, both of Patterson. and Virginia Avila of Mexico; 26 grandchildren, 31 greatgrandchildren, and one
great-greatgrandchild; two brothers, Jacinto and Manuel Lopez, both of Mexico; and a sister, Celia Witrago of Mexico.
