Americo Bellani   July 28,1920 � Sept. 16, 2005
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today for Americo Bellani, 85, who died Friday at Alexander Cohen
Hospice House in Hughson.  Mr. Bellani was a native of Petaluma and had lived in Patterson 75 years. He was a
manager at Patterson Frozen Foods 47 years. He was so well thought of there that they named the Bellani Repack
Building after him at his retirement.  He was a 1939 graduate of Patterson High School, and he was a parishioner of
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.   Mr. Bellani is survived by his wife, Olivia Bellani of Patterson; his children,
Gary Bellani of Turlock, Larry Bellani of Vacaville and Jane Carone of Lafayette; sisters, Leah Wingard of Anoka,
Minn., and Palma Stefan of Modesto; and seven grandchildren.  Wednesday's Mass will begin at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, 529 I St., in Patterson. Interment will be private.  Contributions in Mr. Bellani's name may be sent to
Community Hospice, 501 McHenry Ave., Modesto 95350.  Hillview Funeral Chapel, 450 W. Las Palmas Ave, is
handling arrangements.
