Brother Dies in Manteca; Final rites were conducted Monday in the First Assembly of God Church in Manteca for Billy
Joe Benefleld, 28, who died in a Manteca hospital Saturday after a long illness.  He was a brother of Wilma Ghisletta of
Patterson. Interment was in the Park View Cemetery.  The Bergthold Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. He leaves
his widow, Linda Benefleld of Manteca; two sons, Rodney Monsees and Randle Benefield both of Manteca; parents, Mr.
and Mrs. George Benefield of Oklahoma; five sisters, Helen McCasland of San Gabriel, Wilma Ghlsletta of Patterson,
Connie Hawkins of Hanford, Linda Hendrix and Judy Thompson, both of Oklahoma, five brothers, Buddy Howard, of
Fort Ord, Jay and Hurshell Howard, both of Newman, Ray Howard of Modesto and Wilburn Benefield of Ripon.
