Services Held at Local Chapel; Services were held Saturday morning in Evans Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Edna Browne
Benson, 86, who died July 22 in a local hospital.  Mrs Benson had made her home with her daughter Mrs. Marie B. Crone
of Ninth Street. A native of Illinois, she had lived in Stanislaus County for 16 years.  Other survivors are another
daughter, Mrs. Christine Mortensen of Modesto; one son Ben R. Benson of Stockton; five grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
