Archie L. Bernard, 81;  A graveside service will be held here today, Tuesday, at Patterson District Cemetery for local
resident Archie L. Bernard.  He died last Friday at Memorial Hospital in Modesto. He was 81.  Born in Oklahoma, he had
lived in Patterson the past 10 years. He was retired after working as a heavy equipment operator for Becthol Construction
for 45 years.  The service will be held at I p.m.  No visitation is planned. Hillview Funeral Chapel is handling the
arrangements.  Survivors include his wife, Betty Bernard of Patterson; three grandchildren; and a sister, Bonnie Cole of
Livermore.  Remembrances should be (missing)
