Jose �Cuco' Betancourt, 78;  Final rites are scheduled here Wednesday for Jose "Cuco" Refugio Betancourt, 79.  He died
Saturday at his Turlock home.  He had lived in that city for 36 years.  He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, and was a farm
laborer for many years.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Patterson.  A rosary will he recited today,
Tuesday, at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church, where a Mass will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m.  Burial in Patterson District
Cemetery will follow.  Visitation will be today from noon to 5 p.m. at the Whitehurst, Norton & Dias chapel in Turlock.
Survivors include a son, Esmaiel Betancourt of Patterson; a daughter Mary Garcia of Turlock; eight grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
