Amelia Bettencourt, Lifelong Resident;  A Mass will be conducted today, Tuesday, for Amelia Rose Bettencourt, a
lifelong resident of Patterson who died Friday in Modesto.  Mass will be at 12:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church
in Patterson.  Burial will be at Patterson District Cemetery.  A native of Modesto, Mrs. Bettencourt was a member of
Sacred Heart Church, YLI, UPPEC and SPRSI. She was 82.  She is survived by four sons, Frank Bettencourt of Ceres,
Dave Bettencourt of Fruitland, Idaho, Chuck Bettencourt of Parma, Idaho, and Joe V. Bettencourt of Bele, Idaho; three
sisters, Josephine Silveira, Cecilia Silveira. and Marianne Leonardo, all of Modesto; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren.  Remembrances may be sent to a favorite charity.
