Bettencourt Joseph V 961015 p 11 Joseph Bettencourt Jr., 67; A man who grew up in Patterson was buried Monday at Patterson District Cemetery. Joseph. V. Bettencourt Jr. of Twin Falls died last Wednesday at a medical center in that city. He was 67. A native of Modesto, he grew tip in the Patterson area and graduated from high school here. He worked for Norris industries in California on fulfilling military contracts and later served in middle management for the Gallo Winery for over 10 years. In 1977 he moved to the CaldweIl, Idaho, area where he owned and operated a dairy business with other family members. He then moved to the Buhl and Twin Falls area in 1986 and ranched until his health forced his retirement He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Buhl, Idaho. A rosary was recited last Friday in Twin Falls, and a Mass was celebrated Monday morning at Our Lady, of Assumption Church in Turlock. Whitehutst Norton Chapel was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his children, Tom of Twin Falls, Joe Bettencourt of Modesto, and Shelly Dinkel of Indianapolis, Indiana; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Frank of Ceres, Dave of Fruitland, Idaho, and Chuck.
