Services Today For Thelma Blaine; Services will be held today (Thursday) at 2pm in the Evans funeral chapel for
Thelma Blaine, 51.  Inurement will be in Patterson District Cemetery. The coroner's office ruled Mrs. Blaine's death a
suicide after she disappeared in the Delta-Mendota canal Friday evening.  Investigating authorities found a note in her
handwriting.  Her body was recovered near Los Banos on Sunday. She is survived by a son, Jim Blaine, of Patterson and
a sister.
