Double Service Held Here for Mother and Son; A double funeral service was held here Monday morning for Mary
Evelyn Blair, 72, and her son Fred Blair, 53, who died three days apart. Mary Blair died Saturday in a Modesto
convalescent hospital after an extended illness. Fred Blair died last Wednesday, also after being ill for some time. His
obituary was included in last Thursdays' Patterson Irrigator. Both had been Patterson residents the past 22 years, moving
here from Trinity County.  She was a native of Colorado. The Rev. Richard Kelly officiated the double service at
Hillview Funeral Chapel.   The burials were in Patterson District Cemetery. Mary Blair is survived by a daughter, Patricia
Texiera of Turlock; a sister, Clara Williams of Santa Clara; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
