Ada Ruth Borba, 84;  A funeral service will be held here Thursday for longtime Patterson resident Ada Ruth Borba.  She
died Sunday at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.  She was 84.  She was a native of Minnesota who came to this area
with her family when she was 5 years old and had resided here since.  For 20 years she worked as a floor lady at the
Grisez Warehouse. The service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Patterson.  Burial in
Patterson District Cemetery will follow.  Visitation at the chapel will be Thursday from noon to 2 p.m.  Survivors include
four daughters, Janice Goggins of Modesto, Joan Merriman and Jean Sublett, both of Reno, and Joyce Mendosa of
Turlock; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Peter Storch Jr. Of Turlock; and a sister, Irene Terry
of Lemore.  Remembrances should be sent to the American Heart Association, PO Box 4933, Modesto, Calif. 95353-
