Edward A. Borba, 82;  A graveside service will be held Wednesday in Newman for Edward A. Borba, 82, who died
Saturday at Brandel Manor in Turlock.  He was born in Crows Landing and had lived all of his life in the Newman area.
He was a retired machinist.  He was a member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Newman.  A rosary will be recited
Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Newman.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., also at the chapel.  The
graveside service at Hills Ferry Cemetery will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Survivors include his wife, Rita Borba of
Newman; a son, Edward Borba of Prosser, Wash.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe
Borba of Newman.  Remembrances should be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 423, Patterson.
