Melva Jo Borges    Sept. 24, 1932 -- April 7, 2004
Private services were held for former Patterson resident Melva Jo Flanagan Borges, 71, of Modesto, who died April 7 at
Doctors Medical Center.  Mrs. Borges was a native of Muleshoe, Texas.  She lived in Modesto 11 years and previously
lived in Patterson.  She was a dietitian at Melrose Manor in Modesto.  She is survived by her children, Carol Susan
Borges of Ceres and Michael Anthony Borges of Modesto; brother, Hubert Flanagan of Modesto; sister, Pauline Pierce of
Oakdale awl two grandchilden.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anthony Borges Jr.; two brothers; and
three sisters.  The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs in Modest was in charge of arrangements.
