Ralph Bower, 74;  A funeral service was held Sunday afternoon in Gustine for Ralph E. Bower, 74, a farmer in that area
for the past 30 years.  He died last Thursday at West Side Hospital.  He was 74.  A native of Missouri, he was well known
in the Patterson area.  The service was held at the Hillview Funeral Chapel in Gustine.  Burial in Hills Ferry Cemetery
will be today, Tuesday, at 10 a.m.  Survivors include his wife, Muriel Bower of Gustine; a son, David Bower of Clovis;
two brothers, Claud of Gustine and Bob Bower of Templeton; and four sisters, Hazel Wilfong of Oregon, Mabel Rennie
of Merced, Winona Osterhout of Merced, and Bonnie Lucas of Turlock.
