Funeral Friday for J. Boykin; Final rites will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in the Grayson Baptist Church for James
Allie Boykin, 59, of Salida.  Boykin died Wednesday in a Modesto Hospital. Interment will be in the Patterson District
Cemetery with arrangements by Evans Funeral Chapel. Boykin was a native of Alabama and had lived in California only
seven months.  He is survived by his widow, Pearl, of Salida; three sons, William,  James and John of Salida; four
daughters, Alene Boykin and Mrs. Edna Fulgham of Salida, Mrs. Shirley Higginbotham and Mrs. Rebecca Panell of
Mississippi; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Sanes and Mrs. Elmeta Hunter, both of Columbus, Georgia; and nine grandchildren.
