Bravo Joe A 830421 np Final Rites Said for Joe Bravo; Final rites were said Wednesday for Joe Alaya Bravo who died Sunday after being rushed to Del Puerto Hospital. The Ventura native was 61, and had resided in the Westley area since 1945. He was a ranch manager for over 20 years employed by Sabiatino Farms. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in World War II and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Patterson. A rosary was recited Tuesday evening at the Evans Funeral Chapel. A Mass was said Wednesday morning at Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. Thomas Cargo. Burial followed in Patterson District Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Betty Bravo of Modesto; two sons, Arthur of Stockton and David Bravo of Modesto; four daughters, Joanne Gonzalez of Patterson and Gloria Smink, Rachel Bravo and Susana Bravo all of Modesto; three brothers, Tony Bravo of Westley, Manuel Bravo of Modesto. and Henry Bravo of Moorpark; and 11 grandchildren.
